The Oracle Fusion Assets Mass Additions FBDI — FA_MASS_ADDITIONS — the key columns for asset cost and depreciation, and how to load with Prepare/Post Mass Additions.
Asset conversion loads through the FA_MASS_ADDITIONS interface. You import rows, then Prepare Mass Additions and Post Mass Additions create the assets in the corporate book.
| Column group | Examples |
|---|---|
| Asset | ASSET_NUMBER, DESCRIPTION, ASSET_CATEGORY_ID |
| Book & dates | BOOK_TYPE_CODE, DATE_PLACED_IN_SERVICE |
| Cost & depreciation | FIXED_ASSETS_COST, accumulated depreciation, method, life |
| Assignment | expense account, location, employee (units assignment) |
Fill the Mass Additions FBDI with asset, cost, depreciation and assignment data.
Run Load Interface File for Import into FA_MASS_ADDITIONS.
Review/queue the additions.
Create the assets in the book.
Tie asset cost and accumulated depreciation to the GL.

The Mass Additions FBDI, which loads FA_MASS_ADDITIONS; you then run Prepare Mass Additions and Post Mass Additions to create the assets in the corporate book.
Load the date placed in service, cost and accumulated depreciation so the converted asset’s net book value ties to the source and to the GL asset/accumulated-depreciation accounts.
Syntra generates and loads FBDI/HDL for every object at scale — with source extraction, mapping and reconciliation built in. Skip the hand-built templates.
