SAP Data Migration, Integration and Archival

Migrate, integrate and archive data across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Employee Central Payroll and SAP Ariba — into Oracle, another platform, or a governed archive.

Data Solutions Across the SAP Landscape

SAP is rarely a single system. Most enterprises run some combination of SAP ECC or S/4HANA for finance and supply chain, SuccessFactors for core HR, Employee Central Payroll for payroll, and SAP Ariba for procurement — often alongside non-SAP applications from prior acquisitions or regional deployments.

SyntraETL moves data between any of these SAP applications and an approved target, keeps two or more of them synchronized on an ongoing basis, and archives what's retired — using the same connect-extract-transform-load-reconcile discipline across every SAP object, not a one-off script per module.

SAP Integration

Where SAP needs to stay synchronized with another live application — for example SuccessFactors feeding a downstream payroll provider, or S/4HANA feeding a data warehouse — SyntraETL runs scheduled, incremental or event-driven interfaces rather than a one-time move. See Enterprise Data Integration for the ongoing-sync pattern this covers.

SAP Archival

Retiring an SAP system doesn't have to mean losing access to its history. SyntraETL preserves searchable, governed archives of retired SAP data — financial ledgers, HR records, procurement history — with the retention controls SOX, GDPR and other regimes require. See Legacy System Archival for the archival pattern this covers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does SyntraETL replace SAP's own migration tooling?+

No. SAP's Migration Cockpit and LTMC handle within-SAP data loads. SyntraETL is used when data needs to move between SAP and a non-SAP application, or between SAP and an archive, integration or reconciliation layer SAP itself doesn't provide.

Can SyntraETL move data both into and out of SAP?+

Yes. The same connector and transformation approach works in either direction — migrating into a new SAP instance, or moving data out of SAP into Oracle, Dynamics 365, NetSuite or an archive.

Is SAP S/4HANA treated differently from SAP ECC?+

The underlying data model differs (S/4HANA's Universal Journal vs. ECC's classic ledger structure), so extraction and mapping rules are built per source release — but the same platform and process apply to both.
