Approach & Delivery Model: PeopleSoft → Oracle Fusion

A three-phase migration method with auditable deliverables at every gate, delivered through a joint governance model — Mastek leading the program, Excelencia leading technical delivery, and the Syntra ETL platform doing the migration.

Three phases, auditable at every gate

    1

    Phase 1 — Preparation & extraction

Define scope and extraction parameters; configure and run PeopleSoft extraction programs; stage and verify. Deliverables: scope & requirements document, extraction design & parameter spec, configured extraction programs, source extract files, staging repository, initial verification report.

    2

    Phase 2 — Transformation & loading

Map source to target; apply HDL transformation rules; generate output; load into staging. Deliverables: source-to-target mapping, transformation rules & HDL design spec, HDL-compliant output files, staging load results, transformation validation report.

    3

    Phase 3 — Validation & governance

Validate, reconcile and document; ensure statutory compliance; manage post-migration data. Deliverables: validation & reconciliation report, error & exception log, statutory compliance documentation, migration run book, governance artifacts, final sign-off & closure report.

    The collaborative delivery model

The program ran on a joint governance and execution model. Mastek owned overall program management — planning, reporting, risk and dependency management, executive communications — and acted as the primary interface to the end customer. Excelencia led solution architecture, data migration, integrations and technical execution, aligning all delivery to Mastek’s program plan. The end customer retained business ownership and final acceptance. The Syntra ETL platform provided the automated extraction, transformation and load.
